I have made over 400 of the recipes in the Trim Healthy Mama Cookbook. It has taken me 18 months or so. There are 420 in the book as I count them. That counts all the variations, and yes, I’ve made almost all of them. I need to make a few more crunch puffs though. For the most part, they have been delicious! I am sure I would have quit if they weren’t! I am doing this for my own benefit. I am thrilled to be able to FINISH something! As a SAHM, I often feel like I don’t finish anything! Or what I finish doesn’t stay done! Laundry and dishes anyone?! Smile!
I already owned many of the special ingredients like collagen and sunflower lethicin. It was costly to buy other things though, like poppy seeds for one recipe. Only half of a teaspoon was called for, but I bought it. I will have to make a huge batch of lemon poppy seed muffins to use them all up!
I bought their newest cookbook, Trim Healthy Table, which gave me access to the membership site for a month. I am commenting on each of our favorite recipes from the Trim Healthy MAMA cookbook. I don’t know if you can search for my favorites on there or not. My username is MomCliff. I’ll give a brief review of each one here. I am talking about one word to one sentence review. I took pictures of some of them, but I’m not a food photographer!
As a note, I don’t consider the Trim Healthy Table cookbook to be a stand alone cookbook. You really need the Trim Healthy MAMA cookbook as a foundation.
The recipes are great for Gluten Free folks, and most recipes can be done Dairy Free as well! I will address the criticisms of the book in another post.
